This flexibility ensures you can prioritise your preferred medical facility or specialist. Under this process, you would initially settle the medical expenses directly with the hospital.
Subsequently, you can submit a claim to us to get these incurred costs reimbursed. We are committed to swiftly processing your reimbursement claim. It is typically within 7 days of receiving all necessary documentation, provided the claim is submitted to us within 30 days after your hospital discharge.
To experience a smooth reimbursement, it is essential to furnish all original hospital bills. You must also collate detailed break-ups of charges, pharmacy bills, prescriptions, and all relevant medical records and investigation reports.

Simply present your Niva Bupa Health Card or policy number and identification at the hospital's TPA desk. For planned hospitalisations, we recommend initiating the cashless request at least 48 hours before admission, and for emergencies, within 24 hours of admission.
We are dedicated to expediting these requests, with initial cashless approvals often processed within 1 hour and final authorisations at discharge typically within 3 hours.
