What is the eligibility criteria to get Niva Bupa Health Card?

When assessing your eligibility for a Niva Bupa Health Card, your age and current health are the two most important factors considered.

Your age largely determines your premium. Experts recommend getting health insurance at a younger age, or at the earliest since it is less when one is younger.

  • The minimum age for obtaining health insurance for a child is 15 days, and the maximum age is 18.

  • Adults must be 18 years old to apply, with a maximum age of 65.

The second factor is your overall health. When you get health insurance, you may be required to undergo a medical examination to determine your current health status. This is usually reserved for persons over the age of 45. If you are under the age of 45, you may just be required to submit a doctor's certificate stating that you are in good health.
